Which of the following types of play do you observe in your child? Give specific examples, using the back of the sheet if needed. Smiles/humor: creating and sustaining situations that lead to smiling
Motion/interaction: large motor, change in location or position
Play with objects: exploration, manipulation, practice, and repetition. These actions lead to imitation and more elaborate imaginative play.
Language: noises, sounds, singing, humming
More developed play styles: social, play with rules, rituals. These grow out of previous styles and will develop over the next three years.
